At the time some of us the youth are busy pushing our authorities to uplift our Town Bunkpurugu through the upgrade of our road(s) networks, others finds it necessary to push for their personal agenda at the expense of the district as a whole. I do recognized the need for leadership, and I equally respect the chieftaincy institution, but to what benefit will that institution be without followers, no quality housing, power road net work, lack of job opportunity. Bunkpurugu is for us all irrespective whether you are a Bimoba, Hausa, Moshe, Dagomba, Fulani, Chokoshi, et al, all we need is development and not unwarranted killing of our own brothers, burning of our hard-build houses. I take this opportunity to call on ALL our opinion leaders, political leaders, the conflict players (chiefs), the youth at the center of burning other people houses, we the peace loving youth, and all interested players, to SAY no the KILLING, and let us put to shame conflict. #I_LOVE_BUNKPURUGU.
