BORDERLAND I (Randy Stufflebeam) was one of six cast members in a four-part documentary about the illegal crossing of the Southern U.S. Border. While I had (still have) a VERY STRONG opinion on the issue of illegal immigration and felt that I was well educated on the issue, I will tell you that I had some very important eye-opening experiences that got to the truth of the matter as I was confronted with REALITY. I will also tell you, that unless you have actually seen it for yourself and actually talked with the people who are involved, regardless of what side of the issue they are on, you don’t know what is really going on. Politicians who have told you that they have been to the border and that they know what is going on and that they are consequently qualified to make policy on this most important of issues ARE LYING!! They have NOT seen the things that I have seen and THEY ARE NOT TELLING YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON WITH THE SOUTHERN UNITED STATES BORDER. I HAVE SEEN IT AND I HAVE BEEN THERE. I HAVE TALKED WITH THE PEOPLE WHO ARE INVOLVED ON BOTH SIDES OF THE U.S./MEXICAN BORDER. Hopefully, this documentary will be edited to show just exactly what I am talking about. Guaranteed, that out of the 6 cast members, you will find those that you agree with, those that you love and those that you hate. Not sure what you will think of me, but hopefully, what you see after it is all edited down will accurately reflect who I am and what my position is in all of this.
