BREAKING GUNDAM NEWS: Bandai Namco Holdings, Sotsu, and Sunrise have officially confirmed 2 brand new Gundam series for the 35th anniversary. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin I: Blue Eyed Casval is the long version of the original Gundam novelized story. The Origin I will tell the story of Casval Rem Deikun & Artesia Som Deikun who are later known as Char Aznable & Sayla Mass. The back story will inform us of Casvals & Artesias father Zeon Zum Deikun, the philosopher & creator of the Newtype theory. His fate will set in motion events for his children & the Earth Sphere that lead to the devastating One Year War. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin I will debut in spring 2015! Also announced by Bandai is Gundam: Reconguista in G. This is the first project by series creator Yoshiyuki Tomino since the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam film trilogy back in 2005-2006. This new series is set in Reguild Century, the era set after the Universal Century. It follows the adventures of a pilot trainee named Beruri Zenamu in Capital Guard, an organization protecting a space elevator. Gundam: Reconguista in G will debut this fall. Coming sooner than the new series this year is the final episode of Mobile Suit Gundam UC Episode 7: Over The Rainbow. Episode 7 will be released to digital services on May 17th. The Blu-Ray disc will go on sale on June 6th.
