Bad times for TV atm. CBS has cancelled five of its current television shows after their freshman seasons. Among the shows axed is Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellars The Crazy Ones, which opened with solid numbers but has been in decline in recent months. James Van Der Beeks romantic sitcom Friends With Better Lives, which premiered after the series finale of How I Met Your Mother, has also been axed after only five episodes have aired. Also cancelled are the comedy Bad Teacher starring Ari Graynor, the Josh Holloway vehicle Intelligence, and Dylan McDermotts political thriller Hostages.
