Barclays Investment Bank Economics Research – Junior Researcher role – Full Time This is a full time role within our Economics Research team, we are looking for candidates who are able to start as soon as possible. The Economics team are a global team of leading economists who analyse the developments in macroeconomic data and central bank policy to produce research themes and economic and financial forecasts. The candidate, based in London will work closely with the Chief UK Economist to help develop and communicate views on economic and policy developments affecting the financial markets, including government and corporate bonds, equities and foreign exchange. Role Requirements Education/ Qualifications: Strong academic record, you must have obtained a Masters in Economics and degree (2:1 or above) from a top-tier university. Skills and knowledge: Excellent communication skills written and oral Candidate Profile: A team player with a flexible approach to working, including an ability to adapt and re-prioritise in the face of unfolding events.
