Be prepared to laugh .. Okay, did you know I have my own compound bow? All set up just for me and its camo? :O Dave has his own too, as does Kirsten. How this all started was Kirsten wanted a bow for Christmas a couple of years back. So we got her one, set her up a safe area and would go out to shoot with her. She wasnt allowed to use it without us around. Wed use her bow to shoot, but unless its set up for your own reach, it will slap the heck out of your arms .. Seriously bruise them up bad. So Dave and I both got our own and wed have shooting competitions. Everyone got pretty good, but the area we use for target shooting is Daves part of the back yard set up to hold construction gear, in other words its been full of tools, scaffolding, skid steers, etc. So this weekend we cleared the target run again and Dave and I shot. Its been awhile and my shooting showed it, but my sight was also off and it will take some consistent shooting to get it readjusted back in. Regardless its still fun .. It will also take some relearning on my part since I lost some neural pathways in my accident. It will come back though and my mind/eyes will rewrite the more I practice. Dave upped the stakes about half way through, by hanging tomatoes off the dear to simulate the naughty bite .. Umm, yeah .. Thats how our competitions roll. ;) I was grouping ( no not groaping ) and getting closer .. When he finally had the dear singing saprano .. What can I say, we are sick! :p Excuse the mess, like I said this is his work area, I made him build a retaining wall and fence so I couldnt see it for the house.
