Below is a fun recipe to make Cinnamon Ornaments. These were made in our home today and the house smells so Scrumdelicious!! Between the smell of the fresh cut pine tree and the cinnamon, its putting us all in the Holiday spirit. Happy Holidays and Enjoy! Cinnamon Ornaments - BY THE WAY, THESE ARE NOT EDIBLE!!!! Ingredients: 3 Cups Cinnamon 1 Cup White Craft Glue 1 Cup Apple Sauce Directions: Mix the cinnamon and white craft glue together in a bowl. Once combined, add the apple sauce and mix by hand. This is where I warn you to use some type of glove or your hand will smell like cinnamon all day. If it’s a little too dry, add a little more of the glue and applesauce. Once the dough has come together and is smooth. Take a baseball size amount of the dough and roll between two pieces of plastic wrap until 1/3” thick. Peel off the top plastic wrap layer and use the desired cookie cutters. Make sure to use a straw to make the hole for the ornament hook or twine to go through. Place the ornament on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 200 for 1 hour and flip then bake for another hour. Once dried and cooled down, either leave the ornament plain or use glue and glitter to decorate. FYI - I purchased all of the above at a dollar type store.
