Busy week behind us: Vet runs with the last 3 rescued cats - TopicsExpress

Busy week behind us: Vet runs with the last 3 rescued cats Batman aka Emil, Paul and Poppy ❤ from the Community in UAQ, For the first/second vaccination and microchipping for Paul. We tried to find the owner of Batman/Emil, 1,5 years old boy (as microchiped already) and Paul 6 years old - for weeks, but no success :( Poppy, now 3 months old, has a foster home as she was found with 8 weeks of age only. Both of our black male cats are staying with us. Additional vet runs with our own pets as some of them are not well. Dominic for follow up at City Vet as well. We have had a nice afternoon visiting our beautiful Goat Mama Michelle and her kitten Chris with a special guest! :D - Christopher - who helped us to rescue Michelle from the 611. He came from RAK to see both of them. Baby Chris is named after his rescue Daddy Christopher, they enjoyed the first meet and greet together. Mama Michelle accepts all of us in her cage. Unfortunately we found out, after removing the bandage, her post surgery wound was inflamed :( We removed the plaster 2 days later then planed, as she got her baby on this particular day. Her wound was desinfected and treated by us directly and after diagnosis from the vet we got all medication that we need for her. Michelle was seen by a vet twice this week to make sure she will have no further complications and her Mam Tina cleans the wound daily. Everything is good now and she has an amazing appetite and feeds her cute baby. Both of them are daily spoiled with fresh leaves, veggies and a lot of love! ❤ ❤ ❤ . ANY DONATIONS TO THE VET BILL FOR OUR GOAT MICHELLE ARE MORE THAN HELPFUL! Our babies on site are mostly doing good. Only our Harry was giving us a headache this week as we recognized a bad, open wound on his leg. He did not use his leg, as it was in pain. We were able to give him basic treatment over the last 3 days and separated him from his H group. It is not broken and he is recovering good and using his leg again, so he does not need to be brought to a vet. We are heavily trying to help our animals on site and taking only the critical cases to the vet, even though we have some open bills at the moment. After we rescued the new babies, we need to work harder to reduce the population of the stray dogs in our area!!! :( In the last months we have neutered and spyed around 30 dogs, but there is a long waiting list of dogs need to be done very soon. Please continue to support our work for them!
