CHASING TELESIA PART 11 Kaleb said something low that only Francine could hear. She nodded before he made his way upto Telesia holding his hand out for her to take. Kaleb - Francine will watch over Logan for a bit just to make sure his temperature doesnt spike up. Come with me. Telesia glanced down at Logan who seemed to be in a peaceful sleep. She wondered if hell remember what they spoke about..wondered if hell remember the kiss. She touched her lips feeling it was still swollen. She knew Kalebs words were a soft command. She placed her hand in his and let him lead her out of the bedroom towards the kitchen...... Francine watched Logan. she finally allowed herself to let her thoughts drift. Allday today she felt restless knowing Logan and her cousin were out on a date. The shock of him asking Sia out still stung her. For years she denied her feelings not wanting to lose the amazing friendship she had with him. Silently yearning for something that could never be was like a double edged sword for Francine. She admitted to driving herself crazy,imagining what They were doing that she could no longer sit still at home. Grabbing her house keys,she needed to run to clear her. She didnt want to think of them. She ran until her lungs gave out. She jogged over to a nearby starbucks for a coffee and found she couldnt rid herself of the images she conjured up in her head. Finishing off her cup,she took a quick glance down at the time deciding their date would be done. She didnt why but she wanted to just see Logans face so she decided to make her way over to Kalebs. She leaned back in her chair taking a deep sigh and finally acknowledging her worst fears had come true when she opened Logans door. She wanted to cry. Even felt her eyes water up. Gosh is this what heartache feels like?........ Kaleb sat Telesia down at the table and made himself busy putting the kettle on and pulling out a pot and a few ingredients. She seemed so down and out,Kaleb felt sorry for her. Francine filling him in on how Logan got sick. Kaleb admitted he was suprised that sia tried standing Logan up. What was more shocking was Logan waiting all those hours. He turned the stove on and started dicing up some garlic and onions. 20 minutes later,he placed the food infront of Telesia. Taking a seat across from her with his bowl. Sia stared at her plate in awe. Her stomach chose that moment to grumble with hunger. Kaleb chuckled and dug into his food leaving Telesia sitting in embarrassment. After a few minutes of mortification,Telesia decided that her hunger needed to be quenched,forcing her shame to the side and digging into her food. The pleasure that spread all over her face after her first bite had Kaleb staring with his fork frozen halfway to his mouth. Telesia-this is yummy. Youre a good cook. Kaleb-thanks. Telesia-oh my...this is seriously delicious. Howd you learn to cook? Kaleb-Had no choice. It was either eat take out everyday or starve. So I learnt to make simple dishes to survive. He chuckled making Telesia smile at him with new respect. Kaleb was like an enigma. He seemed like the type of person who enjoyed the simple things in life. Kaleb felt good seeing the sadness leave her eyes replaced with an ease of being around good company. Kaleb-much better. Its not like you to look so down and out. Logan made a choice to wait that long when any other person would have left after an hour of no show. Im not sure if it makes him chivalrous or foolish. he gave sia another warm smile. Dont beat yourself over it ok? Telesia-how are you still unattached? She clamped her hands over her mouth. Kaleb-its ok lol Im not looking thats why. Telesia-sorry. That was rude of me to ask. Kaleb-well,its the same question Ive been wondering about you since weve met. Telesia-oh *blushes* Kaleb went back to eating. His thoughts though were centred on one thing that has been on his mind allday. The subject of his thoughts eating across the table from him.
