(Cake all around face) . . here : Now thats what I call training ! What a fab week - running outside with every class . . . oh how I love the spring (mower at the ready, ready, ready me thinks) ! Lovely flowing courses (yer right) have made you possibly add a few more Short Term Goals to your list AND THATS WHAT TRAINING IS ALL ABOUT - looking at your weak points and ONLY working on that specific section of the course until you get it right with lots of positive reinforcement. Dont be afraid to break a course down and only run a specific combination of obstacles that you need to fine tune ! 9 weaves brought a few nice runs this week to an abrupt HALT half way around the course as the handlers hadnt clocked the odd number when they walked the course. Get ready for 7, 9, or 12 in the weeks to come and count them when you walk a course ! A big thank you to Sam (Zara) tonight for the AMAZING scummy cake she had baked - Simply the best as the song goes x .. . and the lovely Mia, joined the Thursday early class and was on top form, once again ! Lovely to see Michael and Jingo back at Harlequin this evening - she just needs some time to re - adjust - it was all very exciting for her being back ! Little Charlie is working on hose bigger jumps - lets reward with a ballie throw after one or two to gain his confidence ! Tighter turns around wings next week folks - too much time spent on those turns - oohhh cant wait to Check, check check it out ! x x x x
