Champion Kids 2014 is in the books, folks! You know what jazzes me up every single time? Volunteers that complement my right brained chaos with their left brain detail checking. (People like Lindsay & Emily who know how many apples the lunches are missing and just like, GO GET THEM without complaint) College kids who find tons of joy in serving kids and being examples. Thoughtful elementary kids who ask questions like: Do kids really live in landfills? and Do people really have sewage in their drinking water? Tiny preschoolers with bright eyes who really just want to spin the prize wheel but still raise their hands in prayer saying: show me who Jesus is. Every time, man.
