DAILY DOSE TOXIC PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE My daughter got a forward listing the toxic people you should not let into your life and I said, don’t tell me, let me make my own list. Here it is. Toxic people are led by those who make you feel bad about yourself, you just don’t need them even though they often have the power over you of barging into your space and deflating you and you are afraid of them and you don’t know why and they still keep coming and you still keep opening the door and hating yourself. People who are always showing off their wealth and their possessions and their naked greed and being humble about it all. People who never have anything nice to say about others including you and you wonder why you dip into that malice. The kind who, when you see them approaching, your heart sinks because not only do they trade in bad news, they are bad news. People who have a stinky reputation and you know it is deserved and yet, you find spending time with them. Don’t, you will get hurt. Liars, those who break your trust, spill your secrets, cheat you, walk all over you and for some reason ,all of us have that touch of unexplained madness that allows us to be treated badly. People in high places whom you see as role models and they expose themselves for what they actually are. Men who strike women or show no respect to their wives and vice versa. Like charity, if you can’t show decorum at home, you are not likely to show it to the world. Name droppers and those who live their lives by designations, positions and their concept of what is importance. Those who re-enter your home and life after having harmed you and you let them…now, you are stupid. People who speak rudely to support staff or are bigots of any kind. A bigot cannot be a nice person, a bigot is a racist. Family and friends who use you like tissues and then discard you till they need you again.
