David and I were in Odessa for the week and got to see some family and friends that are like family and sweet grandkids I wish I could convey my heart so that you all could feel the intense love and compassion that I have for My Man,his attitude still amazes me. The other night we were talking about accountability partners and David said I dont understand why people need that because my accountability partner watches me shave every morning and I really need to like who that guy is looking back at me! Well I can tell you he is a good man of good character! Nights are when I can pray for him while he is sleeping and invariable I cry, he breaks my heart and I try to be so strong for him so nighttime is my time to bring him before the Lord and give thanks and let out all the hopes and fears that fight with one another through the day. David is doing well he is tapering off steroids and that will be a slow process because weve tried to cut back before and it was AWFUL! So SLOWLY we move forward. At this point he seems to feel good and even carries on a good conversation and the memory thing is iffy but thats been used to my advantage. When I do or buy something I just tell him he told me I could and then that look that I know all to well tells me he isnt one bit fooled. We do have some good laughs at his expense, This week David has blood work done and then next week we see Oncologist again for checkup and if all goes well with blood work numbers we will go on to round three of chemo!
