Day 23: Pray for America Tour - Las Vegas, Nevada was our next media and entertainment prayer tour stop. Located in the Nevada desert, about 4 hours from Los Angeles, people come here to seek entertainment. As you drive around the city, you see billboards promoting magicians, musicians, and music reviews. You also see billboards promoting the darker side of the industry. But we know that where sin abounds, grace doth much more abound . . . so we pray! Along with the casinos and convention centers, this city has its share of movie and television production. Currently, the History Channel has three of its more popular reality shows produced here. Pawn Stars, American Restoration, and Counting Cars make their way into the homes of millions of Americans each week. Yesterday, we stopped by Counts Kustoms, owned and operated by Danny Koker. Now a national TV star, you can take a tour of his shop, check out his car collection, and buy souvenirs. Danny wasnt available, so we walked through and chatted with his staff, told them about our Prayer Tour, and asked them how we could pray for them. They shared with us that thousands of people come through every week, but no one has ever asked if they could pray for them! Amazing! Jesus went into the world to engage with people that He loved. He gave us an example to follow. As we pray for our nation, and for those influencing and entertaining our culture, lets not forget people like Danny and his team! And, if you happen to be in Las Vegas stop by, introduce yourself, and let them know youre praying for them!
