Day 30 of Thanksgiving: Grateful to God for his Lordship in my life. I was blessed enough to have been raised in a Christian home and go to a church that supported the youth - Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, St Pete. Fl. After a year or two of wandering and wondering what I would do with my life I decided to go to Columbia Bible College - now CIU. There I would meet my best friend and husband, James Mark McClamrock. He was the hottest looking thing on campus and he wanted a Lucille Ball in his life. We married 5 months later, finished 3 degrees and had 6 children. Beautiful children at that. :). The only true sorrow in our 29 years of marriage was when we lost James in Iraq. We still dont understand the WHY of this event but we know that our love for each other and that God has been our refuge. He has given us comfort when we needed it and weve tried to use his death as a means of grace. God taught us that he gave Jesus his only son to die for mankind because of his great love for them. So he does understand our pain and sorrow. One day I look forward to meeting the great clouds of witnesses and being welcomed into His Kingdom. Death is simply a transition for believers...Ive already died to this world...just waiting for the next. Thank you God for your work in my life, for the means of grace you supply to teach us and your mercy you give when we need it. You alone are Faithful...
