Dear Lord, it is I and I am coming to you as humble and calm as possible. I am asking that you bless the Cardiac Surgery staff as they prepare my angel for her surgery, I pray that you bless the surgeon with a calm mind and steady hand that he may get this job done as quickly and safely as possible. I ask that you hover over my little angels body as she undergoes such an extensive and intense procedure. I also ask that you calm my heart lord, that even in all my fear and faith that you step in and be my shield. A mother is at her weakest at the thought of her child not well, so in my time of vulnerability I ask that you grab my mind and speak to my heart and keep me at peace so that I may embrace and love her when this ordeal is all over.
