Dear Republicans, TeaPartikons, conservatives, racist centrists, and anybody else who desperately wants to see Obama fail and the Democrats weakened in the midterm elections: let’s put our deep-seated mistrust and disaffection for one another aside for a minute and talk about Congress. This Congress is the worst Congress ever since the first congress crawled out of the primordial ooze and…oops, I mean since God blasted a rib bone in half and created a fully formed representational democracy 6000 years ago. We can all agree on that. They’re like giant toddlers with their thumbs in their mouths expecting us to praise them for being strong enough to stand up to Obama or with Obama or something else, maybe. They’re the most ineffectual, brain-dead slew of jackasses in Washington, and that’s a low bar. Can we come together as enemies and agree that Congress has to go? And if we can, let’s all vote to get rid of our Congressmen this fall. I don’t care if you want to elect someone more extreme and right wing than who you already have (if possible). Just elect someone who will DO SOMETHING. I’ll do the same. I’d rather have a Congress actively trying to legislate America into the stone age or the Victorian Age than what we have now. At least there’d be something to fight against. And for. Say no to the incumbent and vote for whoever the hell you think might try to leave the biggest mark, or a stain, on this country. And then after that’s done, we can go back to sneering at and loathing each other. Deal?
