Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow. I remind myself every morning: Nothing I say this day will teach me anything. So if Im going to learn, I must do it by listening. Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death. Where there is shouting, there is no true knowledge. The difference between school and life? In school, youre taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, youre given a test that teaches you a lesson. The voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. True learning is not about facts, but about conscious appreciation of the experience of living. Let each day be a time to learn new appreciation for life. To learn more about ourselves and the nature of life. To learn what brings happiness to ourselves and to those around us.
