Dinner last night as it is now 2.15 am. Lol. I cooked baked chicken wings with all types of seasonings some water in bottom of the pan with sliced onion separated over top of them and 1 stick of butter cut up in slices and dropped all over them. Cover pan with aluminum foil and use a Pyrex or glass baking dish if you have one. I used a metal one. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 and 1/2 hours then turn oven up to 375 and bake for additional hour. They will fall of bone and meat grabs all the flavors you have added. I heavily seasoned because of the water. ( Save the stock, freeze it for chicken soup in winter months.) Sides where fried corn, baby lima beans, and smotherd potatoes. ( I fried onions in my black iron skillet in vegetable oil until crisp and drained the oil off in a colander while potatoes where boiling. ) Wow everything was so fantastic. Dessert was Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie batter balled up in 1/2 teaspoon rounded balls dropped into fudge brownie mix. Thanks Tamia Horton for sharing your Aunties recipe with me and having dinner with me.
