Dolly is still missing and while lost dog situations cant really - TopicsExpress

Dolly is still missing and while lost dog situations cant really be compared to one another, I thought it was worth noting a few things. Both she and Audrey were lost the same weekend. After speaking with both owners it was confirmed that Audrey was very timid and shy, while Dolly was friendly and outgoing. This made me think the small Sheltie hiding from people would be much harder to see and capture then the large Pointer. Since Dolly was considered friendly, did she walk up to someone who took her in, perhaps not realizing she was lost? Or has someone kept her thinking shes a beautiful dog? Again, I would have thought someone would notice a large animal her size roaming around even if she did try to stay hidden in the fields or woods....but not a single sighting other than right as she got loose. Audrey was seen several times and because she was timid her owners went ahead with getting traps. That is, ultimately, how she was caught. But I was so sure wed see Dolly popping up in someones yard or near a home....and nothing. So, we are sharing this album to put her info out there again, along with maps showing the location where she was last seen. They give an idea of the rural part of southern DE she was in and how she may have gone one of several different directions. Please share widely with anyone around Dagsboro, Selbyville, Frankford, Millsboro, etc! Did someone you know find a German shorthaired pointer recently or get a new dog? Lets see if we can put Dollys face out there and bring her home. https://facebook/media/set/?set=a.568591009874837.1073741911.217871208280154&type=1
