“Dont go to Longhorn, go here!” 5 of 5 starsReviewed June 23, 2014 NEW The Longhorn USED to be my go to venue when I needed a prime rib fix, not anymore. What a find, the Ormond Steakhouse is a bit off the beaten path, hiding in a strip mall off Nova Road, DONT drive by it, your palate, AND your wallet will thank you. What a great food selection, prime rib, filets, ribs, and pork chops. I had the queen cut prime rib, which, if Im honest, was somewhat on the thin side, (Ill most likely order the king next time) but it was perfectly prepared, and VERY delicious, melts in your mouth! The cheesy spinach side was equally delicious, a wonderful garden salad (with cashews and bacon bits!) and warm bread (with flavored butter!) rounded out my meal. The wife had a sirloin steak, that she loved (I had the privilege to sample it, and yes, it was VERY good). So, we both had great food, served by a great staff, and spent $30.00 LESS than a comparable meal at Longhorn. Will I go back? As soon as possible! Visited June 2014
