Dream with Free Abyei Before It Becomes Free These days the key talking point is Abyei Referendum in October 2013 but we do not see physical activities apart from transportation of the voters to Abyei Areas. So what exactly going on in regard to this referendum because most voters reached but there is no time schedule which shows the starting week, date, day and hour leave alone the polling centres. Hence, the question is that how these voters will stand the ambiguity and lack of the basic needs while waiting to decide the fate of Abyei Area? However, the voters will use their patriotism, morale support of their mother state, south Sudan as a whole and their love to the free decent life to overcome the vagueness and lack of the basic needs cited above. But the concerned partners namely; AU, Juba and Khartoum until now did not reach an agreement to execute the AU Abyei proposal because Khartoum is not interested in the Abyei Referendum. In short we need the British Government, American Government and other friends of South Sudan to assist the Abyei Referendum partners to arrive at peaceful conclusions to avoid previous scenarios. The British Government should play a vital role in solving Abyei crisis because Abyei was administratively taken to Khartoum by the British Government in 1905. Well my word to my dear fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters from Abyei who are now on the ground in Abyei, those on the way to Abyei and those who will not make due to unknown circumstances, my dear, you need to focus, dream with free Abyei before it becomes free and be patient enough to endure all situations you are facing as stated in this quote”To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe."
