The Irish Football Association has developed a health programme aimed at Managers, Coaches and Players throughout Northern Ireland to educate them on healthy eating, sports nutrition and mental health. Seminars which will (i) provide advice on what players should eat before and after a game (or training) and (ii) educate Clubs on what signs to look out for regarding mental health (such as stress and depression) and where professional help can be obtained will be held in the Bawnacre Centre, Irvinestown on Wednesday 28th August 2013. The Seminars are an excellent opportunity to receive some free expert and relevant advice that can be incorporated into the Game. Not only are the Seminars free to all Clubs but they are further incentivised with Adidas/Precision training packs containing 10 balls, bibs, ladders and hurdles. 1 pack will be provided free of charge to Clubs with 5 or more in attendance, two packs to Clubs with 11 – 20 in attendance and 3 packs to Clubs with 21+ in attendance. Two Seminars will be held on the Evening – Seminar 1 will commence at 6.45pm and Seminar 2 will commence at 8.30pm. Both Seminars should last between 1 and 1½ hours. Everyone is welcome – please don’t miss out on this opportunity.
