Feels good to be home! Just returned from two weeks in China, where I served as a trade ambassador for the manufacturing and education sectors in Ontario - promoting foreign direct investment in Canada, while strengthening trade relations and identifying new opportunities for Canadian businesses in Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong. Thank you to Global Vision, Terry Clifford, Amy E. Giroux, and my corporate sponsors for funding and supporting me throughout this trade mission. Thank you for the opportunity to have met 27 other talented leaders from across Canada. Junior Team Canada 2014 - I could not have asked for a better team with whom to share this journey. Tonight Im not only thankful, but also hopeful. From juggling two jobs to moving houses to spending the last bit of quality time with friends, this summers been a whirlwind. 6 days left until I leave for school, and Im pretty damn excited for the future ahead.
