Following on from the University’s popular GET THERE scholarship offer of free travel for all home and EU 1st year undergraduates, we have again teamed up with Nexus Ticketing to offer up to 55% off student travel for ALL returning students. Students have two options: GET AROUND annual ticket (LOCAL) - £445 Travel within Tyne and Wear across the whole of the Nexus Metro system, the Shields Ferry, Arriva, Go North East and Stagecoach buses and on Northern rail services between Sunderland and Blaydon. Usual price £978 GET AROUND annual ticket (REGIONAL) - £818 As above but adding on the wider North East region allowing you to travel in Northumberland, Durham and Teesside on Arriva, Go North East and Stagecoach buses. Usual price £1488 TERMS: Offer open to 2nd, 3rd and 4th year undergraduates plus all postgraduates and research students (full and part-time) based in Sunderland or at a Partner College.
