He is the sire of the 2012 Individual Silver and Team Bronze Medal Winner in the European Young Riders Showjumping Championship, Nosco de Blodel, and the 2010 World Champion 7-Year-Old Showjumper, Dax van dAbdijhoeve. His son Oregon de la Vigne has represented France in eventing at the 2012 Olympics and at Badminton. Desir du Chateau has sired two dozen international showjumpers and international eventing horses. Dam: Utopia m2s (Calvados x Mytens xx c Voltaire). This damline has produced the 1.60 m. international showjumping mare Dante (Biko 3rd dam) and the mare Zidante, 7-Year-Old World Champion Eventer in 2011 and subsequently the KWPN Studbooks top-ranked international eventer. Zidante is a half-sister of Morningside Studs foundation mare Holiday (the dam of Utopia m2s). Biko m2s was started by Seamus Hayes and is now with Michelle Kenny (who won Team Bronze Medal with the Condios son Fenhilll m2s at the European Young Rider Eventing Championship) and Rafael Sanctuary. Biko is 65% blood. He is a super prospect for both showjumping and eventing. His half-brother, the WSI Approved Stallion Ai Qing m2s, competes in Germany with Felix Hassmann.
