For the first time since independence, the Algerian police goes on strike, I pray that with the approaching elections from Feb 2015 in Nigeria we dont experience series of strikes protesting non implementation of agreements, delay or no payment of salaries or diversion of funds meant for the various security and public institutions and agencies for campaign purposes or deposited in fixed accounts to yield interests(Oct-Dec 2014) by desperate politicians conniving with high ranking public and civil servants. They must not contemplate it. It may be an expensive gamble that will force the majority of the impoverished Nigerians to jump out of their docile skins.
