From now on my work is either full payment, what you can afford the moment of the session or purely a free gift from me,.. no more of I can pay you some but Ill pay you the rest at a later date. Sometimes that works (about 20% of the time people keep their word) but what Ive discovered that is super unfortunate in that scenario (and Im guilty of it too so) is people start to avoid you, dont contact you or conveniently distance themselves because they either feel bad about not fulfilling their word or they have decided other personal things are more financially important than their financial word to you for helping them in the past. As far as the money Im chill, trusting and feel abundant in force but it sucks when people disappear from your life because of this type of thing. In the same breath it has taught me a lot about keeping your word and not opening that payment options door in the first place. Id much rather step into the session, if its needed situationally, and say here this a gift that I would like to share. So to conclude, anyone who has ever said Ill pay you this or that when this or that happens or anything of the sort, in celebration of this post Im wiping all work related debts off to 0 , no more shadiness or dodgyness though :) I write this lovingly and peacefully just to clarify the text tone :)
