GOOD MORNING JACKSON, Sunday, TGIS, 39 degrees here on the ridge. Got my gulp of fresh mountain air then to my old friend the a Fireplace. Talked and Prayed to God our Creator and Jesus our SAVIOR...and mused that no one will read this post today after last night..the most exciting Sporting event I ever Witnessed..We sure need a Sunday to pull ourselves back together and relax...A Great day to go to Church and worship God the giver of all things Good....Thinking of trains and what an integral part of our lives they have played in our mountain lives...before them the fastest mode of travel over sustained distances was on a Camel like my Clyde..Trains could travel all day at speeds humans never experienced...My first trip was on a coal fueled steam powered one going with my mother to San Anntonio, TX where my Dad was stationed ..I was very young and remembered a kind Black Porter who played with me and gave candy and a toy train...you could walk around, eat and sleep all while traveling it was great..Another time we took Jered to New York City through the mountains of KY, WV, Maryland to Wash. D.C. Then on to New York, going through coal camps and over bridges that you couldnt understand how they were built so beautiful...ate in the Restaurant Car lounged in the Lounge car and looked out the big windows at the scenery...only way to travel...trains were the new blood that came to our mountains bringing people, goods and a knowledge of the outside world..We need to revive them and with the price of gas they seem viable now...But short Post today still reliving the Harris 3 point shot last night that won the game and thinking that a lot of folks are waiting till almost buzzer time to chose God and Jesus as their SAVIOR...a deciding they will regret for eternity if they dont accept Gods and Jesuss invitation....I get more excited about my next trip to on to the other side With Family and Friends and the prescence of God and Jesus than just one game that is now over...Our home in Heaven is for eternity, everlasting and will never end...If some of the energy exerted last night by fans was directed toward their soul or spirit being reborn and able to leave this life in contentment, the Churches would be full today...folks need to hold that exuberance they felt last night and direct it toward their existence continuing after this life and feel the Excitement I and other Christians feel about being with God and Jesus....Again bad day to write a post but felt compelled to. I feel like a night watchmen looking over you wanting to scream getup and get right with God...All I can do is try and put in to words these feelings so if you dont read this I am just a red light saying slow down and think....OK, I know, enough....If you awake today thank God for another day of life, be positive, kind, smile do something nice for someone else and get that warm feeling of being good...Pray and talk to God then Meditate and feel his response in your soul or spirit...No breakfast today....Dont wait for the buzzer you my mis the end and be left...Enjoy and Have a Happy Sunday...Will Talk Later...LOVE JERRY..
