GOOD NEWS EVERYONE: Jackie Ray survived his Colonoscopy today. However we discovered he had a very Special Colon. I will allow Dr. Zoidberg to explain; Most bowels are arranged in a uniform manner allowing material to flow freely. However, this patients bowel looked like a tangled up garden hose and we could not make all the crazy turns and kinks with Farnsworths new endoscope. So, we shuffled him down to X ray and pumped him full of Barium rolling him around and poking ,prodding, and shoving on him until we saw he was about to explode and was in enough intense pain that we were certain he was ready to continue. We then took dozens of X rays in every angle/attitude imaginable lying down and standing up as well before allowing the patient to relieve himself. After that we sent him home at which time I am sure he needed to lay down for a while .
