GULAAB GANG----------------5.5/10 ======================== Lang-Hindi Genre- Drama/Action. Story,Screenplay[1/2]-How one good samaritan women leader takes on evil politician women leader and eventually who wins the battle .Screenplay is adequate nothing great to mention . Acting[2/3]- Mighty impressed with evil juhi chawala .She stole the show .Madhuri was equally good .Rest all did well. Music[0.5/1]-Just ordinary. Technicians[0.5/1]- Nothing worth mentioning except for cinmatography and few dialogues. Direction[1.5/3]- You have two good performing actresses with you .You have got a good back drop of gullabi gang . But you fell really flat .I guess you are confused to what genre you want to make it .You wanted to do a paansingh tomar and dabangg combination which backired .So Mr direct Soumik sen have clarity on genre you want to make this movie .If it is commercial action then load it with nice masala moments .If it is an artistic movie then do without all that. Highlights- 1.How gulaab gang members punish rapist. 2.How juhi reacts when she hears about Madhuri contesting. Positives 1.Juhi villainy . 2. Madhuri heroism is also good. RMBD verdict- Watch it when you dont know which type of movie you wanted to see.Because this movies combines two opposite genres to one.
