Gemma Thomas posted about this eons ago, but a search of the board reveals nothing :( Just watched Under the skin by Jonathan Glazer, and its beautiful. Very very unusual film, mixing verite and surreal styles with really great effect. I dont want to give anything away, but its one of those odd, unsettling films that should be watched late at night. Id like to talk to someone about it because a lot is up for interpretation, having said that its a very satisfying watch, the visuals and soundtrack are stunning in places and the experience is unsettling but also very affecting. I would recommend it to anyone who saw and liked Beyond the black rainbow, Valhalla rising (purely in tone, and only in parts), or even 2001. Its a haunting film. 8/10
