God (the creator of all things) is much bigger and more profound than our tiny minds can imagine. Jesus showed us who God is and what ‘he’s’ all about, which is mercy, love, and kindness. Nevertheless, even Jesus had to speak in parables, and he said there was a lot we don’t understand. This is why we try very hard not to put limits on God. We try not to box God in to our limited understanding. We know God is good. We know God is loving. We know God is just. God specializes in the unexpected. His ways are not our ways. That said, it’s good to stay grounded in the word, stay close to the Spirit, and keep an open mind. Let God be who God is: awesome and mysterious.
