Good Morning. It’s a new day! You did not choose your - TopicsExpress

Good Morning. It’s a new day! You did not choose your parents, nativity, ethnicity or tribe, because you could not. You were not given the chance to choose your race, whether to be black, white or in-between. None of these was your making; you found yourself the way you were! But the way you are now has to do with the race you chose to run. Here we are again: a new day, with choices surrounding. You have the chance and choice to make a u-turn from the wrong calls you made before now, or to continue with them. Be warned: no matter how far you’ve travelled on the wrong road, it is never too late to turn back. We are creatures of choice. Although there are few things in life over which we have no choice, yet we can choose to make the best out of a supposed bad situation. Listen, “Men and women are limited not by the place of their birth, nor by the colour of their skin, but by the size of their hope!” Moreover, a difficult childhood or upbringing is not enough excuse for bad behaviour or failure. The desire for ‘scape goats’ (someone to blame) seems inborn in human beings. Some people grew to discover that their parentage, nativity or race is more of a liability than asset to their progress in life, so they hold it as an excuse for failure, or for criminal intent. Nevertheless, there are others who refused to be hindered by it. It is a choice. Our lives today are nothing more than the choices we made yesterday and the days before yesterday. Moreover, todays decision is tomorrows reality, so be careful! Those who refuse to be bound by the colour of their skin, the place or circumstances of birth are those who chose to look beyond their immediate circumstances. They set their eyes on where they want to be rather than where they are, or where they were. A bad started does not guarantee a bad finish. You can still finish well no matter how bad your beginning was or how tough your present circumstances are! I have seen tall children of short parents. My wish for you is that you will out-grow whatever wants to dwarf you, and that you neck shall grow fatter than your chains. Keep your hope alive; it’s well with you! It’s a good morning; have a great day! Source:Good Morning Fb Page
