Good afternoon everyone. Im looking forward to meeting you all and doing this walk with you all. I was diagnosed this time last year and finished all my treatment (chemo, double mastectomy and radiation) in October last year (quite fitting really :-) I want to give back to help all those wonderful people that supported me through that time (breast care nurses and oncology nurses and the lovely ladies online with BCNA). I separated from my husband four months before I was diagnosed. I believe that having cancer after I left my husband has made me a stronger person. I want others to see that they too are stronger than they think they are and can achieve anything they put their mind too. Bring on October.
