Good morning, I just want to thank all my family and friends for all the love and support this past week. Last monday I was home with my son and he was running around the house, I didnt hear his footsteps and found the back door open. My heart dropped so when I ran outside I found my son floating in our pool blue and not breathing. I dont know how I reacted, I jumped in grabbed him and started to do CPR he then started to breath so i turned him over and my mom just held him because I just went into shock. He started throwing up the water and I just heard my lil brothers voice telling me he was ok! We took him to the hospital and they took him to the trauma room immediately! He had swollen lungs and a bit of fluid, he wasnt in there long because they told me he was one very lucky child and told me I did a good job for reacting and doing what ive been trained to do. My son is really a miracle and has made me look at life different because not a lot of kids are lucky and not a lot of parents react or take the time to take a cpr class incase of emergency! Thanx to st francis and millers childrens hospital for their help, all the nurses and doctors were so supportive and took good care of my son..im truly blessed an thank god for not taking him from me and allowing me to still wake up to him every morning! No words can ever describe the feeling of what I went through and i wouldnt want anyone else to.ever go through it! Please take a cpr class and never leave your children for a second, hug them tell them you love them and kiss them every single day! I felt like a horrible mother and what people would think but like my family said accidents happen and you did a good job for doing everything you could to bring him back I still cry everytime he kisses, hugs, and looks at me with his beautiful smile because I couldnt imagine life without him..just thought i would share this life experience with everyone and im truly thankful for those who took the time to visit at the hospital and at home to check on isaiah. I love you all
