Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things, it is with a humbled heart that we gather together to offer up many thanks. We thank you for the rising of Grandfather Sun each morning as he brings warmth and light to our paths. We thank you for the rains that come to areas of great thirst and brings purification to our bodies. We thank you for the sacred circles found throughout your creation, from the vastness of the Universe to the nests of the birds that surround us. We thank you for the Seasonal Circles that remind us of rejuvenation and regrowth within the cycle. We thank you for the music found in the winds and the rushing waters. We thank you for Grandmother Moon as she watches over us during our slumber. We thank you for Father Sky as he protects us both day and night. We thank you for Mother Earth as she supplies us with all we need to survive. We ask for strength, courage and guidance for those that are now meeting their ancestors and loved ones in the Spirit World. For those that have lost loved ones, we ask for comfort be granted during their grieving process. We ask for miraculous healing for those that are suffering from diverse diseases and disorders. For those that are low in spirit, we ask for their comfort and guidance. We ask for protection, courage and strength for all that will stand against the onslaught of destruction to our environment and animals by those that do not truly understand what they are doing. We ask for hardened hearts to soften; clogged ears to hear; blind eyes to see; and closed minds to open for the truth to be given. We ask for an end to the hatred that seeks to divide your people. We ask for an end to the greed and lust of power that seeks to destroy the spirits of many. We ask for an era of peace and true equality, where no one person has more power than the next. We ask for a return of our abducted sons and daughters and protect them from harm. We ask for guidance as we continue along our paths so we choose the right direction. We ask for freedom for those that continue to suffer incarceration for crimes they did not commit. We ask for a greater compassion to soften the hardened hearts who do not understand the suffering of the homeless and the poor. We ask for teachers to once again teach of the old ways, and show us the true path. We ask for a greater awakening and a cleansing of our spirits to prepare us for the arduous task of rebalancing that lies ahead. We ask for protection of our animal friends that are facing grave danger from those that would kill them for trophies. We ask for protection also for those that stand against the onslaught of evil. We ask for a regeneration of the environment and for a strong unity among the four corners. We ask for protection and courage also for those that will defend the defenseless. For those that are turning away from civilization and returning to the lands in order to bring back balance in an unbalanced world, we ask for their protection, guidance and strength. We thank you for our Elders and the wisdom of the ancestors they provide. We thank you for the life lessons they advise us of the present. We thank you for our children that remind us of lessons and innocence long forgotten. May we erect for them an unbreakable foundation to build upon for a brighter future. We thank you for all two-leggeds, four-leggeds, swimmers, fliers and crawlers that interact with us and bring us insight and wisdom. We thank you for the strength of the wisdom that lies within our hearts. We thank you for the many trials we endure so they may strengthen our spirit and prepare us for the future. Emenv
