Guys, sorry to re-post, but this is a really special race that I hope everyone can make. This race honors my friend Shelbys brother-in-law who lost his life in Iraq. Its a wonderful event that Ive run the last two years. Also, Shelby was the one who helped me get my Boston bib this year so I owe her a huge debt of gratitude (and you do too because I didnt have to ask you guys for donations!). Two other things: 1) There are PRIZES, and judging by previous years results, some of us could walk away with bling. 2) I am honored to be playing Taps and the National Anthem at this event. Its the most important music-making I do all year and Id love for you all to be there.
