HAPPY PRIDE WEEK ST. JOHNS! Last year St. Johns became the first Canadian city to raise both the Pride flag and the trans* flag. Yesterday both flags were raised again at City Hall, the Confederation building, and in Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove. This morning both flags were raised at Memorial University as part of Pride on Campus. There are many leaders associated with St. Johns Pride. Congratulations to the Grand Marshal Susan Rose, and to the community leadership marshals Alice Hietala, Rob Sinnott, Dr. Ailsa Craig, and Tree Walsh. A lot of hard work and generosity has gone into organizing this week. Take some time and show some pride!
