Having the vote is an immense privilege. Democracy - its a remarkable concept indeed; the seeds of which were sown into the West by those clever Athenians. Its survived power hungry monarchs, popes & despots. Its endured through rebellions, recessions, rallies, famines, earthquakes, wars and rumors of wars. Through the process of time, refinement & wisdom of our forebearers, it has been passed on down to us. Surely if we have the right to vote, we must be amongst some of the most fortunate members of humanity?
