...He Will Do It.... October 10, 2014 Todays Prayer Dear Jesus the mediator to the Father in Heaven, I submit myself to You. I am resisting the devil, so that he will flee from me. Please help me draw on Your strength to stand and resist him always. I want to come near to You and feel Your presence near to me. I desire to wash my hands and purify my heart, and remain single-minded. I am sorry for not taking things as seriously sometimes and I am sorry for my sins which grieve the You and disappoint You. I come before Your presence today, and humble myself dear Lord, for You are worthy of all praise and honor and glory and I am but Your lowly creation. I praise You that through the blood of Jesus, I have received Your forgiveness and life and am made righteous. Please lift me up to the place You would have me be, carry me through the valleys, and rejoice with me on the mountaintops. I long for unbroken fellowship with You. I Thank You for the joy You have given me within. In the name of Jesus Christ, Your precious Son and my Savior, I pray and give You my love. Within this day Jesus, lead...guide...direct and strengthen me that I will make and be the change NOW! Thank You for the lessons I have learned. Genesis 6: 15-22 (topic using these verses 15-22 KJV) 15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. 16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it. 17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. 18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons wives with thee. 19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female. 20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive. 21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them. 22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he. The Bible is filled with covenants made between God and His people. There are two types of covenants in the Bible: conditional and unconditional. A conditional covenant is a bilateral covenant in which a proposal of God to man is characterized by the formula: if you will, then I will, whereby God promises to grant special blessings to man providing man fulfills certain conditions contained in the covenant. Mans failure to do so often results in punishment. Thus ones response to the covenant agreement brings either blessings or cursings. The blessings are secured by obedience and man must meet his conditions before God will meet His. An unconditional covenant is a unilateral covenant and is a sovereign act of God whereby He unconditionally obligates Himself to bring to pass definite blessings and conditions for the covenanted people. This covenant is characterized by the formula: I will, which declares Gods determination to do as He promises. Blessings are secured by the grace of God. There may be conditions in the covenant by which God requests the covenanted one to fulfill out of gratitude, but they are not themselves the basis of Gods fulfilling His promises. God made a conditional covenant with Noah in order to preserve the human race. This covenant involved Noahs participation by building an ark. Hed never built an ark before. Hed never had a boat. It was a totally new concept to Noah and the rest of the world. Why would he need a boat in a dry land? Noah did not have to invent the ark; God gave him the plans, in specific dimensional detail. He did not have to gather the animals, God led them into the ark. God even closed the door when they all came on board. God made it rain to prove why the ark was needed. The covenant provided all Noah needed to complete his mission in life. When God spoke to Noah to do this thing, he needed only to respond to Gods call to do it. Noah could rest in knowing the covenant made with God was going to be fulfilled if he fulfilled his part. If you have entered into a covenant relationship with God, you too can be assured that God will uphold His part of the covenant relationship. He is committed to fulfilling His covenant with you and to fulfill His purposes in and through your life. It only requires one thing on your part-obedience. He will even provide grace and faith to you to help you fulfill your part of the covenant. Each of us has a covenant with God. But we also enter covenants with others in our personal and business lives. How are you doing in fulfilling covenants to others? God has given us the example to follow. Ask God if you have any unfulfilled covenants you need to honor. He has called you and me to be covenant keepers. The one who calls you is faithful and He will do it. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:24 KJV) Be Blessed...Stand for truth as God has said it...
