Heres the citys advisory on the latest winter storm - TopicsExpress

Heres the citys advisory on the latest winter storm clean-up From Friday to Monday, the city received 15-25 cm of snow. All staff and equipment, including contracted services, have been deployed to clean-up after the storm. Each plow truck has an assigned route and depending on the timing and severity of the storm in your area, routes are complete within six to eight hours. Arterial roads, collector roads, transit and school bus roads are given priority to ensure that residents and emergency service vehicles can safely travel to hospitals, schools and work. Blowing and drifting snow is expected to continue throughout the day with poor visibility possible at times; travel should be avoided if possible. If you must travel today, residents are asked to be patient and to allow extra time. Stay well back from snow plows, especially on hills and at intersections. Please exercise extra caution and drive to current weather and road conditions. Residents are asked, if possible, not to park on roadways or sidewalks to allow for effective snow removal.
