Heres your PA history for the day. We Three Kings (Of Orient Are) was originally written and composed by John Henry Hopkins, Jr., a native of Pennsylvania (born in Pittsburgh) and at one time served at the Christ Episcopal Church in Williamsport, PA. (He would also have the distinction of giving the eulogy at the funeral of President Grant.) While he wrote a number of songs during his lifetime, We Three Kings is the one most people are familiar with.
