Hi Beanstalkers, Todays outing lead us to once again try out Twisted Sisters Cafe on the Jetty Strip and is always such a treat. Cindy and I have been here once before but only to try their freshly squeezed juice. And in my opinion the absolute best in Coffs! The variety in choice is amazing and I simply cant get enough. This week Cindy chose the Beet Basic (beetroot, carrot, apple, orange, celery & ginger), I chose the Bright Orange (orange & carrot) the colours are fantastic in themselves and the health benefits are truly amazing, beetroot being a superfood and all. The coffee was consistently smooth and delicious and the staff are always so friendly and always have time for a chat. Food wise I had the Scrambled Eggs with Crispy Bacon served on Sourdough Bread. The eggs were so light and fluffy, exceptionally luscious. Cindy had the Breakfast Special with baby spinach, house made Mexican baked beans, avocado & a poached egg. The house made Mexican baked beans were by no means overpowering and the poached egg was cooked to perfection. Now because we cant pass up the chance to try their mouth-watering homemade desserts. For those with a sweet tooth then this is the place for you, we couldnt go past the chocolate & raspberry slice and the chocolate & hazelnut slice served with a delectable helping of fresh cream. PARENTS listen up! Inside is a complete kids corner so dont be afraid to take your fiesty offspring to this well thought out venue. So if you need a quick energy lift or detox then go no further than the juice bar but feel free to sit and enjoy the wonderful and relaxing surroundings that is Twisted Sisters Cafe.
