Or check out our job listing at jobsinme/seek/coresults2.aspx?co_num=64073 HEAVY EQUIPMENT SHOP MECHANIC Essential Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot mechanical issues on a full range of heavy duty construction equipment and trucks • Conduct and document machine inspections and services • Perform engine and power train repair • Service of electrical starting, charging, computer control system diagnostics and repair • Available for on-call service, as required • Maintain a safe and clean work environment Job Requirements: • 2 year technical degree or several years of comparable shop experience • 2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience preferred • Working knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems, components, electrical and fuel systems • Positive attitude and desire to work as part of a team • Must be able to travel as needed • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Basic computer skills • Must own mechanic tool set FLEET MANAGER Essential Responsibilities: • Manage drivers and oversee dispatch • Monitor employees performance • Plan daily manpower to meet workload • Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies • Support and maintain strong relationships with current customers • Prospect new customers and pursue additional contracts to generate growth • Perform administrative functions; including payroll approval and compliance documentation • Address all corrective action regarding direct reports • Communicate with fleet maintenance manager to ensure operations and companys needs are met • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Job Requirements: • 10+ years of Fleet Management preferred • High school diploma or equivalent • Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.) • Thorough knowledge of DOT, OSHA, EPA and Maine Motor Transport rules and regulations; company policies and procedures • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills • Must be multi-tasked oriented • Strong computer skills CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE Essential Responsibilities: • Support and maintain strong relationships with current customers • Prospect potential customers and pursue new business to generate growth • Manage client relationships by contacting existing accounts regularly • Visit job sites of existing customers, talk with contractors to acquire new leads • Set sales appointments • Field client complaints and coordinate solutions with management • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times • Confer with clients to ensure that past due bills are paid Job Requirements: • 5+ years of Construction experience (site work, concrete, general construction, etc.) • 5+ years of Construction Sales experience • Knowledge of Portland, ME area residential and commercial construction market • High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred • Clean driving record • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) • Professional appearance and demeanor • Attention to detail and organizational skills • Positive, team-oriented attitude
