Historical milestone Well, we have done it. Walked away giving Iran everything they want, including the nuke. And in exchange for nothing but the promise they will not pursue their clearly and often stated goal to wipe Israel from the earth. Of course the goal must include destroying the west. I am not going to bother finding fault but simply mark the inevitable significance of the moment to the worlds future. This is a true Neville Chamberlain occasion, only the stakes are much more ominous. WWII will look small when compared to the results of the Wests collective cave to Iran. The horrors of the results are incalculable. Many will find solace in the worn false idea that “surely there is something we don’t know but our leaders know how to make this work.” (Vietnam). Forgive the use of the overtly Christian reference to an Apocalypse but here we are. In the immortal words of the great philosopher Red Fox; “This is the big one Elizabeth.” We may also have the illusion that “at least they do not have ICBMs to strike where they wish.” Delivering nukes to American cities is childs play. Bring them in on a fishing boat and transport them in rental trucks to as many targets as one desires. It will happen. The world just became a much more dangerous place. BTW; did I say happy Thanksgiving?
