History Cavite varsitarian organization was formed in march 1957 University of East manila Philippines Lasting over two generation and spreadind in cavite Ccolleges and University in manila. the fraternity continues to hold premier social events for its member. additionally, the fraternity members have a strong record of humanitarian projects, and public- service drives and have earned the respect and appreaciation of both the community and city government. In the letter years (1959-60), only out 6 of 11 members stayed intact and they were Jun Roxas, Bob Icayan Cheer Genoso, Celso Alvares, Benjie Kalugdan and Arthur Cajulis. Young students who where studying at the manila colleges and universities formed Cavity Varsitarian in 1957 . because of the clash among personalities early on, this assiociation never managed to fully develop as a social club. some msmbers broke and formed Mon Ami. the core members who remained in the cavity varsitarian were Cesar Gutierrez (then-president) Boy Quion, Jun de Castro, Alex Tirona, and other loyal buddies. Members who left the cavity varsitaryan organized mon cher ami in early 1958. this newly formed club consisted primarily of younger folks in cavite city and quikly became popular and gained administrator, but weakened by internal and external pressures, Mon Cher Ami in 1962 and never recovered. Mon Cher Ami is still remembered as a celebrated social club that once existed in cavite city PREMABLE We the bonafide student of ncst residing in Dasma. cavite seeking the aid and guide of the divine povider in order the establish a democratic, representative and independent regional organization, foster a closer relationship among students , faculty the school administration and other sectors of sociaty and promote national conciousness do hereby bind ourselves now hereafter as a united by of person legally engaged in-out of a shool activities. do ordan and promulugate this constitution. ARTICLE 1 NAME AND SYMBOL SECTION 1= This organization shall be know as the cavite varsitarian. SECTION 2= The main office shall be located at Dasma.Cavite SECTION 3= The organization symbol shall be CV stands for cavite varsitarrian open palm facing which means love to all co-members as own brothers and sister Chaku that for united we rise divided we fall, triangle stands for equality to all members the three colors while for purity, blue for loyalty and yellow for peace. ARTICLE 2 DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLE AND OBJECTIVES. SECTON 1= It shall be the aim of the organization to foster unity and cooperation among the members and officers. SECTION 2= To formulate and implement project which require the participation of the members and officers. SECTION 3=To developed social awareness among member . SECTION 4= To unite with the various of sociaty in the persuit of common interest SECTION 5= To served and protect the members and uphold this constitution SECTION 6= To help maintain peace and order in the campus. SECTION 7= To establish cooperative relationship with other organization. SECTION 8= To organization values the didnity of every member and guarantee full respects for human rights SECTION 9= To political office shall A.Plan and lead in chapter building. B.Establish cooperative relationship with other organization. C.Promote and develop national conciousness. D.May or may not attend any meeting called upon by any organization but responsible to attend the meeting called the administration or the deam for student affairs. SECTION 10=DASMA.cavite Resresentative shall A.Be responsible for his members in that particular campus. B.Have control for his members from the respective campus. ADMINISTRATION ARTICLE 3 MENBERSHIP SECTION 1=All students enrolled in NCST who reside in the province and passed intreviews compose of committee is automatically become a member of this organization. SECTION 2= All members shall be recruited from the cities and municipalities of cavite as far practicable. ARTICLE 4 RIGHTS OF MEMBERS SECTION 1= All members shall have the rights to be informed of matters affecting them. SECTION 2=Members shall have the right to enjoy freedom of speech SECTION 3=Members shall have the rigth to appeal on any decision affecting their rights interest and welfare SECTION 4=Members shall have individually or collectivity be entitled to have their grieviences heard SECTION 5=No member shall be subjected to disciplinary action andor explusion without due process SECTION 6=No member shall be compelled to the witness againts himself SECTION 7=No torture force violence threat intimidation or any other means which vitiate the free will shall be used against the member ARTICLE 5 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MEMBERS SECTION 1=It shall be the duty of any member to uphold constitution and by laws of cavite varsitarrian SECTION 2=It shall be the duty of every member to protect care and love asher co member SECTION 3=Every member shall exercise hisher responsibilities with due regard to the rights of others. SECTION 4=No members shall provoke andor participate in violence rumble or gang war SECTION 5=It shall be the duty of any member to cast hirher vote during election and other related matters SECTION 6=It shall be the duty of every members to attennt every meeting called by the president ARTICLE 6 ELECTIONS OF OFFICERS SECTION 1=Election of officers under this constitutoin shall be held in month of july SECTION 2=No person may be elected presidents unless he has been an officer of cavite varsitarian SECTION 3=There shall be an external and internal vice president ,secreatary,treasurer,auditor,public relation officers, DASMA.Cavite representative and diciplinary officers SECTION 4=No person shall be elected or run for any position unless heshe is a member , is at least two years immediately proceeding the day of election SECTION 5=Those who are graduating are not eligable to run for any position SECTION 6=The candidates having the highest member of votes shall be proclaimed as winner SECTION 7=Inj case of death absence dis ability resignation or impeacement of the president, the internal vice president shall become a president to served the unnexpire term SECTION 8=In case of vacancy og any officers a special election may be called to fill such vacancy or may be appoionted in the manner prescrived by law . but this elected officers shall served for only for the unexpireterm SECTION 9=Candidte who loss for the position of president will be the internal vice president, candidate who loss the position of external vice president will be the public relations officers; and candidates who loss for the position of secreatary will be the auditor SECTION 10=Candidate who failled to attend during the election will automatically be disqualified SECTION 11=Election cannot be done unless there at least 50 members that will attend the election day including the candidates SECTION 12=The president shall not be eligable for any re-election ARTICLE 7 THE VARSITARIAN OFFICERS SECTION=The officers shall composed of president, vice president (Internal and External )secreatary,terasurer.auditor. public relation officer St. DASMA.CAVITE SECTION 2=The persident shall a.Elect by the direct vote of the members b.be the presiding officer c.have control over his officers and members d.have the power to create committees if necessary e.implement and approve programs f.all documents and communication will be his duty to sigh g.appoint rasponsible disciplinary officers h.submit an annual report to include audited financial report to the student affairs officer before the end of the school term i.exersise all those power that are inherent to his position and shall perform such other duties as may be necessary or as his office may call for SECTION 3=The internal vice president shall a.assist the presidential in all affairs and activities of the organization b.succeed the persident in case of the latters death abscence disabilityresignation or impeachment c.perform such as other duties as may be assinegned by the president SECTION 4=The external vice persident shall a.his duty is to represent the organization in and out of the campus b.performed such other duties as may be assigned by the president SECTION 5=The secretary shall a.perpare sign and file communicationand the documents of the organization b.take custody of all the record of the organization c.record the proceeding minutes of the meeting of the organization d.perform such other duties assigned by the president SECTION 6=The teasuarer shall a.be responsible for all properties of the organization b.collect and receive contribution money materials and all other rerources for which he she will issues an official receipt c.submit to the president a certified and detailed file reciept of expenditures d.disburse funds in according wih finacial procedures approved by the officers e.perform such other duties assigned the persident SECTION 7=The audithor shall a.be responsible to review the accounting financial and operation report of the treasurer and attest to the result thereof b.check and variety all income abd expenses of the organization c.perform such other duties assigned by the president SECTION=8The public relation officer shall a.be the responsible for the information to be given to the members b.perform such other duties assigned by the president ARTICLE 8 THE DICIPLINARY OFFICERS SECTION 1=The diciplinary officers (D.O)shall be appointed buy the president SECTION 2=The diciplinary officer shall a.be a member of at least two years in the organization b.be responsible for the preservation of peace and other wihin the campus c.protect the members of the organization ARTICLE 9 ACCOUNTABILITY OF OFFICERS SECTION 1=All officers shall served with the degree of loyalty,integrity, responsibility and efficiency of organization SECTION 2=Any officer may be expelled or impeach on any of the following grounds a.any willfull violation of this constitution b.malversation of funds of the organization SECTION 3=All must at all times be accountable to the members served them with utmost responsibility,integrity,loyalty and efficiency and with patriotisym and justice SECTION 1=Oficers shall have the following function powerts and duties a.investigate on its own or any compliment by the member when such act or ommission appaers to the illegal unjust inproper or inefficient.
