Husband and I are watching the newest version (rented) of Pet Sematary (Stephen King)... Our son is fast asleep in bed. We are comparing/contrasting the old favorite movie w/ the new one. We are grieving over Churchill and Gage. Gage looks like a younger version of our son, and it hurts to see how easily the parents and neighbor are drawn in, but then again, MAYBE JUD CRANDALL was evil (???) for leading them to the hill PAST the pet SEMATARY (Cemetery)? Who would have thought the music from this would be as excellent as it is...?... Ramones Music (really good) at the end of the movie too. We are watching the end explanations/chats and see the directors cut/discussions - interview-wise 2006) on this moviw. Fred Gwynne (Judd Crandall) died in 1993. he acted teh true NEW ENGLANDE role (my great Uncle Ricky would have been proud! he spent his almost entire life in New England (Nw Hampshire)... I love the area! Maine is also a previously traveled to favorite!)
