I am a recovering heroin addict and have been clean and sober for 43 months..if u have a problem with that or want to be judgemental then find ur way off my wall..I have lots of friends that are recovering addicts and have made a good life for themselves but are ashamed or embarrassed to admit it because of stupid judgemental people..I am humbling myself and admitting to everyone that doesnt already know that I am in fact an ex-junkie..more ppl need to be aware of this horrible disease and that most of us arent here anymore to share our recovery stories...if the judgemental ppl would actual listen to some of our stories u might actually hear something u can relate to and u might actually see how we ended up on the path to destruction and how strong and determined u have to be to get back on the right path..To all my friends that are recovering addicts who are ashamed or embarrassed..everyone makes bad choices but its what we do to fix those bad choices, the lessons we learn from those bad choices, and how we chose to live in the present that matters and there will always be haters but most of them can not possibly fathom what an addicts life is like so they have no idea how it effects some of us...I love you allk
