I am sharing this just to draw attention to the injustice of this administration and reps cutting health benefits for injured and retired soldiers and their families. Families like mine who were promised that even though the 40 per cent of pay my husband was given as reward for being injured on deployment, we would at least have family health insurance. The VA, despite what is reported, does not offer many services needed by soldiers and certainly does not have the quality or personal humanity of private healthcare. Congress does make more than the average soldier and has better benefits than most in the private sector. I hope all stand up and vote people who think it is ok to cut benefits for current and especially former injured and retired soldiers this out of office. The facts in this article may not be 100 per cent correct but the idea is right. And my facts from personal experience are correct. Thank you to American soldiers and injured heroes! Lets all remember their sacrifices and do something about decisions being made by misinformed and sheltered government reps.
